I often reminisce about it as my first love. Even after exploring the world, that initial awe persists with each return to the city. On my recent stay at Central Park, waking up to its view was a dream. The Park Lane Hotel, nestled between The Ritz and The Plaza, provided a fabulous experience with its prime location and stunning decor. Darling, the rooftop at Park Lane, offers breathtaking views of Central Park and Manhattan-accessible to all, not just hotel guests.
I made time during this trip to enjoy Central Park, appreciating nature and the Manhattan skyline. Amidst the greenery, catch jazz bands playing, and if you’re lucky, a talented singer beneath Bethesda Terrace. Make time for this oasis in the bustling city.
Check out my NYC guides below for hotel, restaurant, sightseeing, favorite NYC experiences, cocktail and jazz music recommendations.
Hotel with Central Park Views:
If you’re searching for a hotel with Central Park Views, then you must check out Park Lane. This fabulous boutique hotel is nestled in between some of NYC’s most famous hotels on Billionaire’s row. From the newly renovated interior, artistic park-themed rooms, and stunning views of Central Park that can be seen from the ground floor to the rooftop; Park Lane was full of enchanting moments.
I have linked additional hotels in different areas of Manhattan, in the guide below.

Brooklyn Bridge:
If you’ve had the chance to travel to NYC, you’ve likely walked across the Brooklyn Bridge while dodging numerous tourists. But have you experienced the Brooklyn Bridge at sunrise? Sunrise is the best time to see Brooklyn Bridge with limited people. After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, I grabbed a coffee at Vineapple in Brooklyn. Vineapple is a lovely cafe, which also offers local beer, wine and jazz music in the evenings.
For My SATC Girlies!
My favorite stoop in all of NYC! If you’re also a SATC fan, you have to check out this Sex and the City Tour in New York! I did this tour during one of my previous NYC trips and it’s still one of my favorite NYC experiences! If SATC is not for you, check out these NYC Movie Tours.
