Linked below are some of the popular Champagne tasting tours in the Champagne Region of France.
Champagne Pommery:
Before we get started on the Avenue of Champagne, I want to highlight Champagne Pommery. If you’re staying in Reims, Champagne Pommery is a must visit before you journey to Epernay. Champagne Pommery is the largest house in the region and the cave cellar tour is impressive. Pommery's commitment to art and culture further distinguishes it within the champagne world. The house has a long history of supporting contemporary art, hosting exhibitions, and incorporating artistic elements into its brand identity. This fusion of wine and art reflects Pommery's commitment to elegance, sophistication, and creativity. I did the self guided tour with audio. After the tour, you get to experience a glass of champagne and explore the gift shop.

Embarking on the Avenue de Champagne:
Did you know the avenue is a UNESCO world heritage site? Avenue de Champagne is located in Epernay, a town in the Champagne region of France. It’s know for being the heart of the Champagne industry and home to many of the most famous Champagne houses in the world. As you embark on the Avenue de Champagne, prepare to be immersed in a world of history, luxury and elegance. The avenue is lined with historic and beautiful Champagne Houses. Below the street are the underground cellars where millions of bottles of Champagne are stored. Many Champagne houses offer tours and tastings. Come with me to the three houses I visited on the Avenue de Champagne.
Sipping the Finest French Champagne from Moet & Chandon:
Prepare for a decadent experience from the moment you enter into the Beautiful and Sophisticated Champagne house. Moet & Chandon offers champagne tastings and cellar tours. If you’re interested in a cellar tour, you will need to book in advance as the cellar tours are very popular. If you have not planned ahead for this experience, then you can do as I did and enjoy a tasting in the elegant bar. Known for its unparalleled quality and rich history, Moet & Chandon sets the standard for luxury bubbly. As you savor your first sip of the finest French Champagne from Moet & Chandon, the delicate bubbles dance on your tongue, releasing notes of ripe fruits and floral undertones. Each sip is a journey through the vineyards of France, a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship of the winemakers. Indulge in the opulence and sophistication of Moet & Chandon as you continue your exploration of the Avenue de Champagne.
As I mentioned above, it is recommended to reserve your spot early at Moet & Chandon. Click Here to Book your experience!
Indulging in De Venoge Champagne:
As you continue your journey through the prestigious Avenue de Champagne, get ready to immerse yourself in the luxurious world of De Venoge Champagne. This exceptional bubbly offers a perfect balance of fruity notes and floral aromas, with a hint of toast and brioche, creating a truly unforgettable drinking experience. My favorite champagne for the day was the De Venoge Blanc de Noirs. The flavor profile is rich featuring cherry and raspberry notes, floral hints and subtle spices. It’s 100% Pinot Noir, so if you’re a red wine lover, this is a must try! De Venoge does not ship to the U.S.A., however, their champagne’s can be purchased at Total Wines.
Next, experience Happiness and Bubbles at Bulles et Bonheur Champagne House, where tradition and innovation come together to create a truly special tasting experience.,
Experiencing “Happiness and Bubbles” at Bulles et Bonheur Champagne House:
Bulles et Bonheur was my last stop of the day. We arrived close to closing but the owner let us stay for a full tasting! He was very welcoming and provided an educational experience. Every Champagne house was fabulous, but this was my favorite experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, we were educated on the history of the house and we left with a case of our favorite champagne being shipped back to the U.S.A.! You can also reserve an outdoor jacuzzi, while sipping on this fabulous champagne. From the vineyards to the cellars, every step of the winemaking process is a testament to the commitment to excellence that defines Bulles et Bonheur Champagne House.
